Drawing on rich and holistic sources of inspiration - from art, cinema and design to fashion and craftsmanship, the studio creates elegant, multi-layered spaces with integrity and character. Balancing the old with new, Linda Boronkay and her team aim is to bring to life cinematic, sensual interiors, underpinned by rigorous, detailed research and a desire to elevate everyday experiences.
Linda Boronkay comments “For me, interior design is about creating a fantasy, a safe haven, an unforgettable experience. It’s about how objects, colours and lights – or the lack of these – make you feel. It’s the emotional response to the physical world that excites me.”
Linda Boronkay Design Studio has timed-honed relationships with craftsmen and ateliers across the world, allowing them to create bespoke furniture and objects for each project. Every piece the studio produces is crafted with a respect for the history and function of the space it will inhabit.
Prior to founding her eponymous studio, Linda started her professional career in the fashion industry before working for leading architecture and design practices including Tom Dixon, Martin Brudnizki, Woods Bagot, Tara Bernerd and latterly Soho House.
